Welcome to our little corner of the Internet, The London List. We’re so glad you’ve made your way here! This website is the culmination of our efforts over the last five months, and we’re so excited to share all that we have learned about our city and the goodies it holds along the way.

 

Our inspiration to embark on this journey was simple: we LOVE food. After talking one afternoon about our favourite places to eat around London, we realized quickly that there were so many unique places to try and so little time to do it before we all graduated and returned to our hometowns! We wanted to put together this tried-and-true list of our favourite places for future generations of Londoners, so that they don’t miss out like we nearly did.

 

That said, we’re interested in more than just finding a great bite to eat. We set out to get a feel for London’s food culture, and the farm-to-fork movement that exists within its city limits. Within our pages you’ll find a wide variety of establishments featured -- the hidden gems, the mainstays, the student favourites, and everything in between. Some of them we got to taste-test for ourselves; check out our interview with Haven’s Creamery here that dives into what makes their sweet treats a cult classic. 

 

Others we weren’t so lucky, as the ongoing pandemic has forced a lot of the establishments we planned to visit to close. That didn’t stop us, though. On our site you’ll find a map of all our favourite places to eat in London, and some short profiles on why we wanted to visit the ones that we didn’t get a chance to see for ourselves.
